Red Oak Country Club

Hole 17

This Par 4 is the longest one on this course at 397 yards and is very difficult. Looking down the fairway from the tee box, you can only see the right half of the green. The tree line blocks the left half and a bunker sitting in front of it. Best play is slightly right to get an open second shot at this big green. But take care of where you put the ball as this hilly fairway slopes right and the ball can run out of bounds very quickly. While the tee box is elevated above the green, most second shots are played from below the greens elevation for an approach. This is a large green that slopes toward the front left where the bunker is located. Par is definitely a challenge on this hole.
