Red Oak Country Club

Hole 16

This 471 aryd Par 5 is a long, narrow fairway that continues to elevate toward the green. Best play here is to keep right down the middle. The ball may stray a bit left or right as it bounces since this fairway is the flattest, but it shouldn't stray too far. There are some trees on the left that begin making their way over into the fairway about 250 yards out. Placing your ball on the left, behind those trees, can be very troublesome for a second shot. There's plenty of tree trouble on the right as well. Best not to slice it on this hole. The approach shot shouldn't be too difficult as the bunker sits off to the left and the green slopes back towards you and runs off to each side respectfully. The slope on this small target makes this a very fast green with a lot of break.
